What’s new in this version?

This version improves the compatibility of Web Zero Distance with some USB devices which previously did not appear in the list of available devices in Web Zero Distance settings for “Microphone”.

• If the receiver refreshes during file transfer the page, the offer to download the same file is displayed again
• In case of Internet connection problems, the system attempts to resume file transfer during one minute since the time when connection was lost

CDR

• Solves an issue which made it impossible to enable connection to the MySQL server version 5.6 and higher

Virtualization

• Fixes an issue with autoprovisioning via automatic mode in virtual environments different from WMware and VirtualBox: scan of devices works correctly now

System

• Adds a possibility for the user who receives forced call transfers to make a call to the user who had set up the transfer of calls to the number of this user
• Makes it possible to dial numbers entered in a non-standard format, which includes dot and bracket symbols from Wildix Collaboration, e.g: +(39).012.345.678

Learn more about Tags

• To enable “Tags” display in Wildix Collaboration, go to WMS > CDR > CDR Settings > “Tags”: insert one or several tags (separated by commas)
• To add Tags:
  • History tab: right-click on an entry, click “Tag”, and tick off one or several tags
  • During an incoming call: click on “Tags” icon in the call popup window (Available with CDR-View license)
• To rewrite Tags which had been set up via Dialplan (“Set” application):
  • History tab: right-click on an entry with a tag, click “Tag”, and tick off another tag (tags) from the list)

• Increases timeout for attendant transfer via feature code #8 (or via flash hook for W01FXS) from 15 to 30 seconds

• Solves an issue that prevented Slaves from re-establishing P2P connection after it was lost due to some network problem

The upgrade procedure from rel20mu8 to rel380 does not require the transitional repository (rel20_30) any longer.
 
Just three simple steps to perform the upgrade procedure:

1. Upgrade the PBX to the latest WMS 2.x version using the repository rel20mu8
2. Upgrade the devices’ firmware to the latest version (click “Configure/Sync”)
3. Upgrade the PBX to the latest WMS 3.80.x version using the repository rel380

 
Upgrade notes:

• License “Upgrade license WMS2 to WMS3″ must be enabled on the PBX
• WMS Network is not possible between WMS2 and WMS3, so all the PBXs in the network must be upgraded to WMS3; start with upgrading the Master PBX
• After the upgrade is done, recheck your Dialplan configuration, Call groups and Paging groups
• Communication on upgrading Hotel PBXs (WGWH) will follow later this month

Browser plugins are disabled by default on the new Google Chrome 42 version.
In case you are using Google Chrome 42, follow the steps described below, to ensure the correct functioning of Web Zero Distance and CDR-View.
 
Note: In case you are using Web Zero Distance under Microsoft Windows, you don’t need to make any changes, just update Web Zero Distance to the latest verion (2.0.7) from Wildix Collaboration.
